THE GAME OF FANORONA

End of the Game

Game of Fanorona ends when one of the players have no pieces left or when one of the players is unable to make a move without losing the last piece to the enemy player in the next round - this player has lost the game.

If neither player can force the other into this situation, the game is a draw.

As you can see in the image above, if it would be Black's turn, wherever would black piece move it would still get captured by white piece next round. If it would be White's turn, the black piece would get captured right away.
